Windamere Horse Haven

WINDAMERE HORSE HAVEN was established to help save the poor, neglected, abandoned or unwanted horses that are destined to head to the Knackery. We have two property's our training establishment in Hahndorf SA and our spelling/retirement property in Callington SA. Our aim is to give these horses a second chance at life through rehabilitation, re-education and TLC. Our view is once the horse is fully recovered and back to full health we will find a suitable adoptive home. We will match horse to new prospective owner with continued ongoing support throughout the horse’s life. We are not horse dealers and are against “dogging” horses; we offer another alternative to those in need without judgement.
