Western College Dubbo

often said that you can’t fit a square peg into a round hole. But at Western College, that’s a challenge we thrive on. When it comes to education, a ‘one size fits all’ approach just doesn’t cut it – and at Western College, we don’t just cut the corners to fit, we make sure our training meets the needs both the participants and of the community of which we’re a part. We have a Board of Directors made up of dedicated community leaders. We listen to what the community needs and we tailor our training to meet those needs. We’re not just about ticking boxes. As a small training provider, we have the benefit of flexibility and the ability to adapt our programs while still offering a breadth of training options and the assurance of quality, national standard training. Under the stewardship of CEO Ron Maxwell, our experienced and qualified trainers are hand-picked to ensure not only quality delivery but a personalised and relevant approach to the individual learner and to the organisations and businesses seeking to develop a practically skilled workforce. It’s this individualised approach that has earned Western College a number of prestigious accolades, including being named NSW Small Training Provider of the Year for 2010. Western College is proud to be acknowledged as a state-wide leader in training service provision – a reflection of our philosophy of being small enough to provide relevant and flexible education options for the community, but big enough to ensure choice and quality training services for participants and the business community. Western College is all about helping people in our community to reach their potential – and to develop a greater understanding of all the opportunities that are available to them, and how they can use their potential to help contribute to a healthy economy and a strong community.
